History

BioTop Medical is owned by Dr. Teresa Lopes, a biochemist with an academic research background in Molecular Biology. Dr. Lopes started her activities with medical devices back in 1997 and in 2000 she founded the company ‘BioTop Medical’.

In 2011, Daniel Brodeur, chemist, joined us as General Manager. His background is in R&D, QA/RA of medical devices, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. From 2003 to 2011, Daniel headed QA/RA and R&D for a Canadian company prolific in these industries.
